About
The H2O project brought together partners from across Europe to improve health literacy and promote healthy lifestyles among Roma communities. The project began with research to understand the needs of Roma groups, followed by the development of training materials and programs tailored specifically for Roma populations. Key activities included conducting primary interviews and secondary data analysis, training Roma community educators, piloting a health literacy curriculum in settlements, building an e-learning platform and mobile app, and creating an educational board game. Over the course of the 2-year project, partners worked together to implement each intellectual output, from research to training to educational resources. By equipping Roma communities with greater health knowledge and focusing on prevention, the project aimed to have a significant positive impact on the long-term health and wellbeing of Roma across Europe.
