The European Social Fund is an important instrument of the European Union for investing in people and strengthening the competitiveness of the European labor market. At Public Open University Čakovec, we recognize the great opportunities that this fund offers us for improving the skills and employability of our students.
Through previous projects financed from the ESF, we have developed a number of attractive adult education programs aimed at acquiring the competencies required on the labor market. We place a special emphasis on empowering the more difficult-to-employ groups through training and retraining programs.
We believe that through the ESF we can contribute to reducing unemployment and social exclusion in our community. Therefore, we are always open to new project ideas and partners in order to jointly help as many unemployed as possible in acquiring the skills necessary for work. We are aware of the challenges faced by the unemployed and are ready to create programs adapted to their specific needs.
We believe that with the support of the European Social Fund, we can achieve a positive impact on the development of human capital and the competitiveness of the local labor market.
