About

The X-VET project responds to the urgent need to adapt Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions for the twin Green and Digital transition by equipping them, along with their educators and learners, with the necessary tools for sustainability transformation. The project’s objective is to integrate experiential entrepreneurship and digital innovation into VET practices through a whole-organization approach. Key results will include an “Integrated Sustainability Workbook” providing a 10-step model for embedding sustainability into institutional governance and curricula; a comprehensive “Integrated Sustainability MOOC” with tailored learning paths for VET leaders, educators, and learners; and a framework for “Integrated Sustainability Hackathons” to foster collaborative, real-world problem-solving. The anticipated impact is a systemic shift within VET institutions, where leaders are empowered to drive strategic change, educators are equipped with innovative teaching methodologies, and learners develop the critical green and entrepreneurial skills required for the future sustainable economy.
