This week we visited North Macedonia where the second partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Raising Awareness for a Greener Tomorrow” was held. Through the RAGT project, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of proper waste sorting and management, where each of us can make a small but very significant contribution.
So far, within the RAGT project, we have prepared a report on the state of waste management in Slovenia, Croatia, and North Macedonia. At the meeting, we discussed the next project activities related to developing a manual for teaching green topics for educators and creating an online search engine / digital assistant for waste sorting.
As part of the meeting, we visited JP ISAR, a public utility company, where we heard firsthand about their experiences in waste management and also identified areas where we can collaborate in the future.
Once again, we thank our Macedonian hosts for their hospitality and the productive yet very pleasant atmosphere. We look forward to continuing the project and sharing the results with you soon!
