Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec (Public Open University Čakovec) proudly announces a new international mobility for its staff members within the framework of the Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of adult education. This week, our team is participating in a job shadowing activity at the Andragoški zavod Maribor (AZM) in Slovenia, a renowned adult education institution with over a century of tradition.
First Day of Mobility
On the first day of mobility, our staff members:
- Familiarized themselves with AZM and its rich history in adult education
- Learned about AZM’s diverse educational activities and programs
- Deepened their knowledge of the adult education system in the Slovenian national context
- Met mentors who will help them gain new andragogical knowledge and experiences throughout the week
Mobility Objectives
This job shadowing activity will enable our team to:
- Gain insight into innovative adult teaching methods
- Exchange experiences with colleagues from Slovenia
- Familiarize themselves with new approaches in organizing educational programs
- Expand their network of international contacts
Erasmus+ Accreditation of POU Čakovec

Significance of the MobilityWe believe that the knowledge and experiences gained during this mobility will significantly contribute to the further development of Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec as a renowned center for adult education in our region. This exchange of experiences and best practices with colleagues from Slovenia will enable us to enhance our programs and teaching methods, providing our learners with even higher quality education.
