From October 14 to 19, 2024, various events are taking place across Croatia as part of Erasmus Days, a global event celebrating the successes of the Erasmus+ program. This autumn, Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec, together with Europe Direct Čakovec, organized an event called “Erasmus+ 365” on Thursday, October 17, to showcase the opportunities this European program offers to citizens.
At the beginning of the event, the director of POU Čakovec, Mario Zamuda, emphasized the importance of Erasmus+ projects for the institution, highlighting POU Čakovec’s successful participation in Erasmus+ projects over the past eight years. The Mayor of Čakovec, Ljerka Cividini, expressed her support for the institution’s work in her speech, praising their efforts to integrate European experiences into the local community.
Marija Stanković from Europe Direct Čakovec presented opportunities for participation in the Erasmus+ program and European Solidarity Corps, while Ivica Jeđud, head of institutional and inter-organizational cooperation at POU Čakovec, provided insight into more than 20 Erasmus+ projects in which POU Čakovec participates, including KA1 and KA2 projects and the acquired accreditation in the field of adult education. Huso Jusić from Ljudska univerza Lendava shared Slovenian experiences with Erasmus+ projects, providing an international perspective.
Through inspiring speeches and exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to learn how the Erasmus+ program enriches citizens’ lives, enables new knowledge, and opens paths to personal and professional development. POU Čakovec and Europe Direct Čakovec express their gratitude to all participants for attending, especially partners and collaborators, and look forward to future opportunities for cooperation and participation in European projects. They hope this event will motivate all attendees to engage in Erasmus+ activities and take advantage of the opportunities offered to them.
We believe that everyone will find an Erasmus+ activity tailored to their needs!
