This week, as part of our Erasmus+ accreditation, we are participating in the course “Incorporating Cultural Diversity in Education,” held in Palermo. The course brings together lecturers and experts in adult education from various European countries.
The theme of the course is exceptionally current and important. It addresses interculturality, the integration of migrants, and the development of inclusive educational policies, as well as strengthening the sensitivity and competencies of teachers and educational staff.
The exchange of experiences, practical examples, and open discussions with colleagues from other countries have demonstrated the universality of this topic and confirmed how much we can all learn from one another. Through our participation in this course, we are enhancing our ability to provide education that is inclusive, sensitive to diversity, and fully aligned with European educational values.
The course program continues with topics on language and integration, the importance of the national language in education, and examples of good practice from across Europe. We look forward to the new insights, inspiration, and knowledge that we will be able to apply in our work and transfer to our community.
