As part of the Lifelong Learning Week, four engaging workshops were held at the Faculty of Teacher Education – Department in Čakovec, attracting a large number of students.
Lifel[AI]ng Learning In the workshop “Creating Your Own AI Chatbot / Assistant for Lifelong Learning,” students learned to create a personalized AI assistant for lifelong learning. Regardless of their prior technological experience, participants were given the opportunity to experience the practical application of artificial intelligence in the learning process.
Promoting Reading and Early Literacy In collaboration with the “Nikola Zrinski” Library Čakovec, a workshop was held on the importance of reading aloud from the earliest age. Participants learned how to select age-appropriate picture books and were introduced to library services, including the “Ask a Librarian” portal.
Sign Language in Everyday Life The workshop introduced participants to sign language as a key tool for inclusive communication. Attendees mastered the basics of sign language and its application in everyday situations.
First Aid In collaboration with the Red Cross Čakovec, attendees acquired basic skills in providing first aid and life-saving techniques. The workshop emphasized the importance of being prepared to react in emergency situations.

The Lifelong Learning Week is organised by the Agency for Vocational and Adult Education (ASOO) as part of the ESF+ project, “Further Development of the Quality Assurance System in Adult Education and Raising Awareness of the Importance of Lifelong Learning.”
