On Saturday, we participated in the Taste Festival organized by the Platform for Social Center Čakovec, which showed that gastronomy has the power to unite people regardless of geographical or cultural differences. Through the sharing of experiences and conversations with the participants, we witnessed how unique tastes and smells bring people together and open dialogues, and that cooking can be a strong bridge between different cultures. Through our EUCountry project, we also aim to create similar bridges of understanding and cooperation at the European level. Events like the Taste Festival inspire us and remind us of the importance of intercultural exchange and learning. It was inspiring to see how the local community enjoys delicious food and how the spirit of international cooperation can be felt through gastronomy.
