The energy renovation project is financed through the public Call for proposals for grants, “Energy Renovation of Buildings with Cultural Heritage Status” (reference number: NRRP.C6.1.R1-I3.01), funded by the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
The energy renovation of this listed cultural property will implement measures for energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources, and horizontal measures. This will result in the renovation of 1,758.03 m² of Gross Building Area (GBA) and achieve the following outcomes:
- Primary energy savings (Eprim): 262.26 MWh/year, representing an 89.85% annual reduction compared to the pre-renovation state.
- Heating energy savings (QH,nd): A 66.63% reduction in the annual required heating energy.
- CO2 emission reduction: A 90.64% annual reduction.
- Increased share of renewable energy: A 73.32% increase in the share of renewable energy sources compared to the pre-renovation state.
