On April 18, 2023, as part of the Lifelong Learning Week, the final conference of the IKT CLOUD-io project (UP.04.02.1.11.0424) was held in the premises of the University. As part of the project, two programs were created: Excursions and Eco Actions, where one tries to contribute to better touristic and social inclusion of users of disadvantaged persons associations through the organization of excursions for them, and through the other, in cooperation with the ZeuS association, to maintain and preserve natural sites that are at the same time of tourist importance. Education, volunteer and other educational activities were also implemented within the project, which strengthened the capacities of all involved stakeholders. All partners remained motivated for further cooperation and implementation of European projects.
The beneficiary of the IKT CLOUD-io project was UTV “Međimurski vodiči”, while the remaining partner organizations on the project were the Association of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities of Međimurje County, the Blind Association of Međimurje County, the Protection and Environmental Association Senjar (Zeus) and the Public Open University Čakovec. The total value of the project was EUR 65,577.11 (HRK 494,057.98), and the grants provided by the European Social Fund amounted to EUR 55,740.55 (HRK 419,949.28), and from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia EUR 9,836.57 (HRK 74,108.70).
