Yesterday, our Erasmus+ project was officially awarded the prestigious European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA) in the Adult Education category, validating the quality work of POU Čakovec and our European partners.
We are proud to announce that the project “Help to Opportunities” (H2O) has been recognized as one of the best practice examples within the European Union. The EITA award celebrates projects that have achieved outstanding results through the application of innovative teaching and learning practices.
International Cooperation as the Key to Success
This significant achievement is the direct result of intensive collaboration between nine organizations from eight European countries. The project was coordinated by Ljudska univerza Lendava (Slovenia), with POU Čakovec and Razvojni center Murska Sobota participating as key partners, alongside six other European organizations. The project focused on improving health literacy and developed an innovative method involving lay health literacy educators who serve as educators within vulnerable communities.
The synergy of the partners’ diverse experiences and expertise allowed for the creation of a comprehensive approach to adult education that transcends national borders.
Motivation for the Future
For POU Čakovec, this award is not only recognition of past work but also a powerful incentive for the future. The EITA confirms that our efforts in the preparation and implementation of EU projects are recognized at the highest level.
This recognition motivates us to continue our active participation in the Erasmus+ programme and to further develop projects that bring tangible benefits to our local community. Through such projects, we will continue to empower our learners and provide them with the tools necessary for personal and professional development.
We congratulate all project partners!
