Today, we proudly hosted a study visit by members of the Association of the Blind of Međimurje County. During the visit, we presented the work of our institution, spanning almost seven decades of existence. The focus was on our educational offer, with a special emphasis on more than 50 adult education programs that participants can enroll in completely free of charge at POU Čakovec.
We touched upon the history of our building, which recently underwent energy renovation, and highlighted new inclusive elements, such as the lifting platform for persons with reduced mobility. We aim to ensure that in the future, the POU Čakovec building—the first built in the Secessionist style in our city—becomes even more inclusive, and our offer of educational activities even richer, so that everyone can find an activity tailored to their needs.
