Yesterday, we held the first working meeting of the Erasmus+ project InclusiGardens. We look forward to starting our collaboration with our partners, the Society for Permaculture of Slovenia and eVRGreen Studio from the Netherlands, on this important initiative that promotes sustainable urban gardening and social inclusion.

The InclusiGardens project aims to empower vulnerable groups, such as the unemployed and individuals with lower levels of education, through education on micro-gardens in urban areas. The main objectives of the project include:

  • Creating a digital repository on sustainable gardening, which will serve as a platform for learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Developing a modular toolkit with practical instructions on micro-gardening.
  • Producing an e-cookbook with recipes and guidelines for zero-waste cooking, using ingredients from micro-gardens.
  • Applying gamification to make education accessible and appealing to different groups.
  • Designing a curriculum for urban gardens, which will be implemented through pilot workshops.
