Ahead of International Chefs Day, the institution hosted a special cookery workshop attended by around twenty participants, who watched award-winning vocational culinary teacher and chef Anica Naran\u0111a prepare her original autumn menu.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”19670″ image_size=”full” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”None” animation_movement_type=”transform_y” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default”][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]International Chefs Day celebrates a profession that requires knowledge, precision, creativity and considerable dedication. For Public Open University \u010cakovec, it is also an opportunity to highlight the culinary education it has offered to adults for many years and to emphasise that cooking, like any other skill, can be learned throughout life. The workshop was organised as part of the MC Chef project and Erasmus Days.<\/p>\n

The workshop was opened by Ivica Je\u0111ud, a member of the MC Chef project team at POU \u010cakovec, who briefly introduced the project and its results. Inspired by seasonal autumn ingredients, the colours of nature and traditional flavours, Anica Naran\u0111a created an original menu entitled \u201cAutumn Rhapsody\u201d. Across four dishes, she combined contemporary cooking techniques, creativity and thoughtful presentation:<\/p>\n
