The experience highlighted the importance of a personalised approach, motivation, and continuous monitoring of learner progress in adult education. In such an environment, it is not enough simply to provide high-quality content and appropriate technology. The mobility also provided an opportunity to reflect on the potential use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in adult education.
