{"id":15769,"date":"2024-11-14T09:06:58","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T07:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pou-cakovec.hr\/?p=15769"},"modified":"2025-07-23T09:09:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T07:09:00","slug":"study-visit-to-medimurje-county-and-the-public-open-university-cakovec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pou-cakovec.hr\/en\/study-visit-to-medimurje-county-and-the-public-open-university-cakovec\/","title":{"rendered":"Study Visit to Me\u0111imurje County and the Public Open University \u010cakovec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the framework of the EMV-LII project, &#8220;Empowering Migrant Voices for Local Integration and Inclusion,&#8221; co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), we had the honour of hosting the partner consortium, which comprises 19 organisations from 7 countries. The objective of the EMV-LII project is to improve the quality of life for migrants and their inclusion in society through participatory and innovative approaches.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, we presented our institution and its activities with a special emphasis on our work related to migrant integration. This included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b class=\"\">Croatian language instruction for foreigners,<\/b> which features excellent collaboration with employers.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"\">Our Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of adult education,<\/b> one of the objectives of which is to enrich our educational offerings and capacities in the foreign languages sector.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"\">The submitted project proposal, &#8220;Bridging Cultures,&#8221;<\/b> which aims to foster the social inclusion of third-country nationals in Me\u0111imurje County through participatory activities and active engagement in the life of the local community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank Me\u0111imurje County and all participants of the study visit for their interest and constructive discussions.
